Masih berita dari jagad moge dunia, kali ini giliran Aprilia yang merilis superbike terbaru mereka.
Seperti kita ketahui, tahun ini Aprilia berhasil menjadi juara dunia World Superbike 2014 melalui pebalapnya, Sylvain Guintoli, sekaligus mengunci gelara juara dunia konstruktor. Kesuksesan tahun ini dan rencana terjun di MotoGP tahun depan, membuat Aprilia merasa perlu menyegarkan varian superbike andalan mereka. Tentu selain menguatkan image juara dunia, juga tidak ingin ketinggalan dengan pabrikan lain yang telah merilis varian superbike mereka yang rata-rata bertenaga 200 HP lebih! Aprilia telah mengumumkan bahwa RSV4 RR baru ini akan menghasilkan tenaga 202 HP on crank! Sangat bersaing dengan BMW S1000RR, Yamaha New YZF-R1, dan Kawasaki H2. Sedangkan untuk varian limited editionnya yaitu RSV4 RF yang hanya akan diproduksi 500 unit saja, akan dibenamkan full-race package. Yang tentunya akan membuat motor ini semakin bengis.

aprilia emang berhasil ningkatin powernya, ga heran sih kan mesinnya konvigurasi V yg identik dg power, akan tetapi power sebesar 202 HP itu dicapai dg ningkatin rasio kompresi 13.6 : 1 (gila, setara bebek2 buat road race/drag bike tuh), sementara yamaha ningkatin ke 200 HP dg rasio kompresi 13 : 1 dan trhrottle body tetap sama dg R1 sebelumnya, 45 mm. brati yamaha juga telah berhasil mengurangi rugi2 gesek di dalam mesin yg bikin power ikut naik juga.

Betul masbro, mesin V4 Aprilia memang punya potensi bagus, namun mesin inline 4 Yamaha yang udah menggunakan beberapa part titanium kayak con rod dan valve nampaknya membuat powernya terkerek signifikan, mantap kedua motor ini :D

mesin R1 yg pake titanium hanya klep in aja, klep out tetep dari baja bro.
sementara fracture split connecting rods yg diadopsi R1 baru itu ane belum paham maknanya, fracture kan patah artinya, split artinya retak, pembagian. entah maksudnya gimana!
